A lifetime in the fields: our foundation
With over 40 years deeply embedded in agriculture, from farmer and contractor to Civil Servant (SGRPID) and Farm Business Manager (Agrii), our founder's journey is one of continuous learning and dedication. Since November 2016, as an Independent Agricultural Consultant with Ceres Agri Services, this extensive experience has culminated in the development of Soil Balance©️.
Soil Balance©️ is a unique soil analysis system that meticulously combines ADAS/SAC and Albrecht analysis. It's designed to pinpoint the precise limiting factors in soil, especially when standard analysis fails to explain poor crop and livestock performance. This specialised expertise led to a Full Membership of The British Society of Soil Science (M.I. SOil.Sci.) in 2015, a distinction proudly held with a Diploma in Agriculture rather than the usual degree requirement.
